Area of application

For edge gluing with Holzher cartridge edgebanders with feed rate from 10 m/minute
* suitability depends on the special characteristics of the edge banding material and pre-treatment thereof
For edge banding material: Solid wood, veneer, melamine, polyester, HPL*, PVC*, ABS*, PP*

Features

softening point (ring and ball) approx. 108 °C
viscosity (Brookfield) 55,000 m Pas at 200 °C
heat resistance approx. 90 °C
tested with 0.6 mm oak veneer in accordance with Dorus test method of increasing temperature

Suitable for

Edge banding material: Solid wood, veneer, melamine, polyester, HPL*, PVC*, ABS*, PP*

Additional information attributes

Material and room temperature: min. 18°C
Wood humidity: 8 – 12%
Heating-up time: 2 – 4 min.
Recommended processing temperature in the application nozzle 200 – 220°C
The upper temperature range should be set for extremely long and strong workpieces.
The contact pressure must be strong enough to crush the hot adhesive beads and produce an even film.
Use straight edges only
With solid wood profiles with low sagging, hollow side should face the base plate
A bonding agent can improve adhesion for edge materials which are difficult to glue (e.g. Dorus ND 183/1).
